inconsistent meeting attendance

One of my peers inconsistently attends our team meetings. As a result, misses important updates or deadlines and as a result does not deliver impacting upon my deliverables as I am dependent on her output.

In order to reduce time and cost of project delivery I must ensure accuracy and quality and in order to ensure accuracy and quality I must make sure my colleague is updated with correct information for decision making. But, in order to reduce time and cost of project delivery I must also have spare time to work on other activities and in order to have spare time to work on other activities I must streamline the meeting and manage time well. I can't both make sure my colleague is updated with correct information for decision making and streamline the meeting and manage time well.
