Leadership Conflict

When in a position of leadership I struggle with leading styles. In my personal life I am very easygoing and gregarious and I should be myself when in a position of leadership. Yet I believe in order for me to be a good leader I need to be firm in order to maintain control.

D: Lead others with my natural personality: easygoing and gregarious.
D': Change my natural personality and lead others with a firm stance in order to maintain control.
B: Be true to myself and my values.
C: Maintain control over subordinates

In order to Be an effective leader I must Be true to myself and my values. and in order to Be true to myself and my values. I must Lead others with my natural personality: easygoing and gregarious.. But, in order to Be an effective leader I must also Maintain control over subordinates and in order to Maintain control over subordinates I must Change my natural personality and lead others with a firm stance in order to maintain control.. I can't both Lead others with my natural personality: easygoing and gregarious. and Change my natural personality and lead others with a firm stance in order to maintain control..

D-D'If I change to a firm stance then I am not leading with my natural personality.I can use different leadership styles accordingly with the situation.
B-DIf I adopt any conflicting attitudes solely for leading purposes, I am changing who I am. If I adopt new attitudes for myself, then it would be enhancing who I am.
C-D'I would need to change from easy going to a firm stance in order to exude power and maintain control.There are others ways of exuding control.
A-BOne cannot lead others when we are not being ourselves; with our attitudes and values.
A-Cwithout the ability to be in control of subordinates, a leader loses power and cannot be effective.You can control subordinates actions through motivation and inspiration.
