D-D'There is a protocol to be followed so either you break the unspoken rules or you follow them. If the project manager actually listens to me, I won't have to go to the VP myself.
B-DThe VP should know 2 things 1) that his employees are so stressed out and overworked that The Project that needs attention isn't given the correct attention. 2) The project manager doesn't feel comfortable enough to talk to their boss about things that will affect the reputation of the company.My VP is aware of the system dysfunction and just wants to meet deadlines as well.
C-D'That way everyone keeps their job. It'll look like my manager has done is job and stopped something negative from happening to the company's reputation.The project manager does a soft launch and doesn't find any glitches then there aren't any issues and the VP doesn't need to be notified.
A-BA job should care about the integrity of the people in the company. If the business is full of people who will bend rules to just get an assignment done then this job needs to hire better staff.If my project manager doesn't care then I don't care.
A-CI want to be in a place where my voice is valued and I feel heard.It is all a test and they just want to check and see if I will speak up or not.
