Group Project Dilemma

In my BUS 301 course, we have an end-of-term group project. The groups were randomly assigned, so no one in my group knew each other. Of the 5 of us in the group, 4 of us regularly participate, contribute and show up to group meetings. One member of the group has yet to participate at all. After reaching out multiple times, the other member has yet to respond. My group is worried we will not be able to successfully complete the project without a fifth member contributing.

In order to Appeal to the fifth group member and get him to engage with the project. we must handle the issue professionally as adults and in order to handle the issue professionally as adults we must Inform our professor of the member's lack of engagement.. But, in order to Appeal to the fifth group member and get him to engage with the project. we must also Ensure the success of our project and in order to Ensure the success of our project we must confront the fifth group member on our own. we can't both Inform our professor of the member's lack of engagement. and confront the fifth group member on our own.
