Milestone #3

I am member of a four person team. We have been working on a project for a client for a couple months with one to go until the projects deadline. Before our team started the company contracted with an outside company, In-Tech (ITC). Our team began working to integrate ITC’s modules and have noticed bugs in their program. The bugs may not be fixable by the deadline. The conflict is my team does not want to report the ITC bugs to our supervisor or the Senior VP of our company, SSC.

RelationAssumption(s)Injection(s)
D-D'Reporting the bugs may be the only way to get them fixed and the project delivered on time. But going over my managers head to his boss could be detrimental to my standing on my team or even result negatively when it comes to my employment.Going over my managers head will always negatively affect my standing with him and my team.
B-DOur team cannot finish the project with ITCs bugs in the modules and we cannot reach out to ITC ourselves to fix them.Finding another way to fix the bugs other than contacting ITC.
C-D'Doing so would damage my professional relationship with my team and manager. After doing so I could ask to be moved to a new team or look for another company to work for.
A-BIf the project is late or has bug that effect the performance the reputation of our company and my team will be damaged. Reaching out the customer to ask for a delay in the delivery date because of the problems.
A-CGoing over my managers head to the VP may put a target on my back for the problems associated with this project as well as singling me out from my team.Being the person who exposes the problems and submits a solution will be beneficial to my personal growth.
