RelationAssumption(s)Injection(s)
D-D'1. If the problem is reported then the product cannot be completed in time for the customer because the problem must be fixed.
2. If the problem is not reported then the product delivered to the customer will not wholly be the product they had ordered due to the defects.
1. It is uncertain whether or not the project would be late at all because it is simply speculation based on history that it is too late.
2. The product could be fixed by our project manager without reporting the problem to the Senior Vice President.
B-DIt is not ethical to knowingly deliver a defective product to a customer in an effort to save our positions in the company.Reporting the problem directly to the Senior Vice President could be unfair to the project manager or my teammates who have a voice in handling this problem.
C-D'1. If the problem is reported then my teammates and project manager will face negative consequences similar to other teams who have not met deadlines on projects up to losing their jobs.
2. The project manager is too busy to fix our problem in time.
1. The consequences faced by teams who did not meet deadlines could be very different situations compared to the one we are currently facing thus resulting in a different outcome for our team.
2. The project manager may be busy, but saying he is too busy is speculation that we have not received a direct answer on.
A-B1. If we deliver the product with bugs then we have not delivered a quality product to the customer and the company will suffer as a result.1. The bugs in the product may not severely affect the product and the customer could be satisfied therefore the company would not face any backlash.
A-C1. If reporting the problem leads to negative consequences for myself, my team, or the project manager then I have caused great trouble to those around me by reporting an issue that was not our fault.1. Reporting the problem could lead to no negative consequences for our positions or for our project manager.
2. The issue could be addressed by our team or the project manager and reporting may not be the only avenue to accomplish this.
