My team and I have reached a dilemma regarding our current Advanced Production Scheduling (APS) project. We discovered significant faults in the commissioned work by our new vendor, In-Tech (ITC). To not report the faults to the Senior VP and continue the integration of my team’s work with ITC’s, would likely result in a failure at our client’s site, negatively affecting our client’s business performance. To report the faults to the Senior VP, address this concern, and postpone the integration, would add to SSC’s growing pipeline clog of over-budget, delayed projects.
