I have found a problem with the new software set to go to a customer and need to bring it to the attention of my managers.
A: Create a working and completed project
B-D: | Assumption(s) | Injection(s) |
a formal meeting with the VP would solve the issue, and the bug would no longer be a problem after the meeting | If the issue is bigger than expected the meeting may not be the first step to fixing the problem |
In order to Create a working and completed project we must Underline the issue/bug and make your team aware of the effects and in order to Underline the issue/bug and make your team aware of the effects we must Arrange a meeting with the VP. But, in order to Create a working and completed project we must also Proceed through the completion process as normal and in order to Proceed through the completion process as normal we must Not arrange a formal meeting. we can't both Arrange a meeting with the VP and Not arrange a formal meeting.
Relation | Assumption(s) | Injection(s) |
D-D' | we assume arranging the meeting will be the first step in resolving the issue | Arranging the meeting could work, but even just meeting with the project team first could also help |
B-D | a formal meeting with the VP would solve the issue, and the bug would no longer be a problem after the meeting | If the issue is bigger than expected the meeting may not be the first step to fixing the problem |
C-D' | arranging the meeting could jeopardize your responsibility in the team | the team could thank you for your finding rather than punish you for criticizing their work |
A-B | if not the issue could disrupt the whole project | identifying the bug is a plus, but it could be easily fixed if handled properly |
A-C | If we do not the project could see negative repercussions. | delaying the project is bad, but I am sure the company doesn't want a buggy program and it's our job to fix these things |
